The Problem Of Electricity

There is a huge demand for electricity
But our power houses don’t have such capacity
Without it our future seems dark
And if we lose it, on mankind it will be black mark

Its quintessential part of our life
AC and DC are its two major types
It has become our basic need
On which all our electrical appliances feed

Since the time Edison invented artificial light
Even our grey nights have become bright
The bulb he invented took us to greater heights
Mankind once again sailed in its advancing flight

Now the time for concern has come
Sadly, this is realized only by some
The hoi-polloi will never give it a thought
Electricity will be the reason, why 3rd world war will be fought

The nuclear power plants do add to the share
But, their miseries are many and uranium is quite rare
The wise realize we should enhance our alternatives
Solar, wind and tidal should be our new superlatives

Our mother earth is being depleted from its beauty
All she has to offer, will soon be empty
If we are unable to find a possible solution
Then be ready to take the blame from our future generation.

    dude an awesome insight, but the real issue is with andhra. we get most of the coal from andhra, but due to the issues with telangana, we are at a lack of power.

The dictionary defines gambler as a person who is willing to take the risk in hope of a desired result. A risk-taker is a gambler. A gambler doesn't necessarily meet success every time. Loss is always expected; the undesired result. It was sometime during the month of May, summer vacations were on but Sainik school had called back its pupils for early onset of classes. The campus was empty except for the final year batch. The city of Bijapur bathed in the intense heat of blazing sun. The air near the surface of earth was so hot that it often resulted in mirages on the black velvety asphalt road. The days were hot; the nights brought relief with occasional rains and cool breeze. Devouring of the Moon

It was night, not particularly dark. One could say it was a grey night, definitely not a black night.  The crescent moon provided ample moonlight and the twinkling stars canvassed the night sky.  Darkness was further dispelled by rebounded street lights from afar. It was like any other night, nothing particularly charming or mysterious about it.  Hameed was lying on his back in the sand. He had just finished his supper that his mom had prepared. It was a everyday supper. Naan bread, lamb curry and lemon pickles. He lay there  looking at the crescent moon that appeared like it was hinged on some invisible cosmic thread.  In fact, he wasn't paying much attention to it.
