Vicious Green Liquid Oh! My beloved glass of drink I need you on every brink You give me the push to go through You help me to talk what is true When I start, I can’t stop You make me feel I am on top I drink and drink, till I fall I stagger back because I cannot stall Oh! My beloved glass of drink In your depths my soul sinks Your every drop makes me more insane Still I embrace you, knowing you are bane With you inside, my devil crawls out My rage in unleashed, I shriek and shout People look at me in disdain But I still drink to lessen my pain Oh! My beloved glass of drink I will drink even though you stink My folks have warned me against you But I loved you since you were in brew You stop me from thinking I stare at nothing without blinking You’ve have made me your slave I’ve lost my sense to behave Oh! My beloved glass of drink I need you to quench my thirst But my thirst for love remains unquenched I wil

Ganesh chaturthi is widely celebrated across the country. We worship Ganesha - the lord of wisdom and knowledge to bless us with true knowledge and enlighten our souls towards the final salvation. Just one week before the festival day, markets start filling with idols of ganesha. These idols come in varying shapes and sizes, some really huge, some small, some come with lot creativity displaying ganesha in variety of postures. They were friends Thrown apart by a storming weather But nothing could keep them far As now they were back together Eager they were to see each other Dressed hurriedly without glancing at mirror As they met, smiles swept across their faces They roamed again all those old places Memories of good old times Engulfed their hearts and minds They all did miss those old times Which now they all had left behind Tonight they sat, ate and drank Until they filled their tank They laughed joked and danced Until they lost their balance They screamed yelled and jeered Cause they were such nonsense breed They rolled, jumped and ran Amidst the crowd, wherever they can They talked of tales of new life They talked about the old ones too

The Difference

People here live in cages They are surrounded by walls They peep out through their windows Their doors are always locked. They always keep an eye open An eye of suspicion! Their hearts are filled with doubts Their expressions are so confusing Their minds are always presuming. They try to build a shelter A protective shell for their family In truth a hiding place for their wealth They try to keep it safe From preying eyes of this world People here live in cages They are surrounded by walls Their windows are always shut Their gates are always locked. But people who live on daily wages Are surrounded by their neighbours Their homes don’t have doors Earth is their floor, their ceilings have holes. They don’t try to build a house They carry with them their homes Their wealth is in their heart For that they don't need a vault They don’t have a place of their own But you’re always welcome to their home They don’t

Manipulator

Manipulator In the crowd of plebeian, there hides a man A beguiler, he is vicious and of dark tan A priggish by nature & purposefully polemic Rhapsodic in his obloquy, touting his academic He relentlessly feeds on your thoughts Absorbing them, making them his own Probing you with his self made syllogism And then effortlessly using his dysphemism He is sly, like a jackal waiting for its turn He lives by your side and makes you churn He waits for you to think and choose Then without any rue, he lets his idea loose He makes a place for himself in your mind He influences your life, and your every move Until your thoughts are under his reign Your idiosyncrasy goes for a wane His materialistic views and his needs In your mind they start growing like weeds His desire to be cynosure is carefully disguised In his attempts of being erudite that is often reprised His ignominious acts are carefully concealed He prowls around finding
