KAANTE – THE REUNION

Yes! It was night

And they all did race

All of a sudden for them

This world seemed out of place

Yes! They were friends

Thrown apart by a storming weather

But nothing could keep them far

As now they were back together

Eager they were to see each other

Dressed hurriedly without glancing at mirror

As they met, smiles swept across their faces

They roamed again all those old places

Memories of good old times

Engulfed their hearts and minds

They all did miss those old times

Which now they all had left behind

Tonight they sat, ate and drank

Until they filled their tank

They laughed joked and danced

Until they lost their balance

They screamed yelled and jeered

Cause they were such nonsense breed

They rolled, jumped and ran

Amidst the crowd, wherever they can

They talked of tales of new life

They talked about the old ones too

Life seemed for a moment quite blur

Everything around rotated and emotions up surged

The short was now built strong

Denim jeans, Nike shoes

In his life now he had made new rules

When he walked, the gals stalked

The fat was same old game

He never knew what was shame

Now he claimed he had reduced weight

Dwelt on hard work, never bothered about fate

The dark tall one had returned

For a new path with a new hope

He had studied and studied hard

Something new was predicted on his tarot card

About the last one, what to say?

Clever he was, born in month of May

He now strives to be more stoical

He became meticulous, but never clinical

Thus the tale continues

The reunion was just another chapter

In this story of friends

There is no end to laughter.
