Redefining Myself

My words are semantic
My thoughts are symmetric
My actions regardless of my intentions
Always tend to be heroic!

My entry is dramatic
My reactions are theatric
My speed is progressive
My movements are ballistic

My costumes are thematic
But my jokes are not pedantic
For all kinds of pain, I am stoic
Forever immune to all kinds of toxic

My beliefs are Vedic
I practice what is scientific
For ladies I am always romantic
Don’t mistake me as robotic

My speeches are always a topic
For discussions that are not pragmatic
By people who are so eccentric
Ironically they call me a fanatic

My poetry is Kabbalistic
Every line in it, is mystic
Every word has a varied meaning
Which makes me cryptic

My views are holistic
My ideas are futuristic
I can escape out of any crisis
As I know each and every tactic

At times my behavior can be erratic
Which makes my anger sporadic
Don’t sway too close
I tend to be highly magnetic

They say, my birth was awaited
Since the period was Jurassic
and my name was carved on rocks
When the period was still Neolithic

To conclude, I am so fantastic
My haters call me lunatic
This whole rap is rhetoric
Where you won’t find any logic

The dictionary defines gambler as a person who is willing to take the risk in hope of a desired result. A risk-taker is a gambler. A gambler doesn't necessarily meet success every time. Loss is always expected; the undesired result. It was sometime during the month of May, summer vacations were on but Sainik school had called back its pupils for early onset of classes. The campus was empty except for the final year batch. The city of Bijapur bathed in the intense heat of blazing sun. The air near the surface of earth was so hot that it often resulted in mirages on the black velvety asphalt road. The days were hot; the nights brought relief with occasional rains and cool breeze. Devouring of the Moon

It was night, not particularly dark. One could say it was a grey night, definitely not a black night.  The crescent moon provided ample moonlight and the twinkling stars canvassed the night sky.  Darkness was further dispelled by rebounded street lights from afar. It was like any other night, nothing particularly charming or mysterious about it.  Hameed was lying on his back in the sand. He had just finished his supper that his mom had prepared. It was a everyday supper. Naan bread, lamb curry and lemon pickles. He lay there  looking at the crescent moon that appeared like it was hinged on some invisible cosmic thread.  In fact, he wasn't paying much attention to it.
